Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP has rendered the charitable aid to the hospital No.1 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city

Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP has donated the special equipment for the patients’ treatment with severe skin injuries to the traumatology department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city hospital No.1 on May 24, 2017. As noted by Erken Duisekin, the traumatology department head this equipment is designed for the burn treatment and anti-decubitus beds and is used to treat seriously ill patients with severe and extensive burns of the skin large surfaces, during the post-operative care of patients, in particular, to restore patients after extensive surgical interventions.


Deputy Chief Physician of Ust-Kamenogorsk city hospital No.1 Elena Kulikova has thanked the representatives of Kazakhstan utility systems for such precious gift, mentioning that it would be difficult to purchase this expensive equipment to the medical center.

Social policy is the important part of the activities of our Group. KUS group which includes Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP pays much attention to the development of social responsibility, conducts the active charitable activity, providing assistance to the poor, orphans, WWII veterans, Afghan soldiers and labor veterans and pensioners who previously have worked in the energy sector.

The Group has good tradition that is every year on the Victory Day’s eve to honor the veterans of the great Patriotic war and also the representatives of the older generation of power engineers. Veterans are given the food baskets, one-time financial assistance and free installation of electricity metering devices.

Much attention is paid to supporting orphanages. Karaganda companies belonging to Kazakhstan utility systems Group established the patronage over the Kulynshak orphanage in 2012 and created the "living area" complex specifically for children with disrupted musculoskeletal system.

Also the question of cultural development of youth, spiritual education of younger generation doesn't remain unaddressed. So, for example, Karaganda Energocentre LLP has allocated KZT 63 million to Shapagat-Karaganda, the social initiatives fund for the new mosque construction in 2010. Besides, many employees of KUS Group independently provide individual assistance to people in need through the charitable organization Red Crescent.

Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP has rendered the charity assistance to the Veterans House

Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP of Kazakhstan Utility Systems Group has donated the winter fuel to Obitel, the Veterans House on October 4, 2017. UK CHP energy workers have brought 14 tons of high-quality coal in the framework of sponsorship to the social institution with furnace heating before winter sets in.

Obitel, the Veterans House existing since 2014 is located in Tarkhanka village of East Kazakhstan region Glubokovskiy district. Today 15 elderly people live in it and the oldest is 92 years old. The director of the Veterans House Galina Pilipenko has met the employees of Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP with great joy and has thanked UK CHP energy workers for the rendered help


Toktar Aktailakov, Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP Maintenance director has met veterans. The conversation has taken place in a friendly, warm atmosphere. Older people have told about life in the Veterans House, about their hobbies and occupations before retirement. For his part Toktar Aktailakov has expressed admiration for the veterans’ vital firmness, has mentioned comfort and emotional warmth that prevails in the social institution and has wished longevity for older people.

According to the Maintenance director of Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP energy workers are happy to help the Veterans House so that even in the severe frosts there would be warm.
In addition to the free supply of coal Ust-Kamenogorsk CHP employees also have presented gifts for the veterans.
